How OpenTennis Works
Four steps take you from a played match to a place on your local ladder.
- 01
Play
Find a nearby opponent and play a match at your own pace.
- 02
Report score
Add the score after the match. Your opponent can confirm it with one tap.
- 03
Rating update
Confirmed results count in full; pending results have about one-third the impact. Opponent confirmation unlocks the full effect.
- 04
Ladder position
Your position on the local ladder updates live with every confirmed result. Each confirmed win moves you up.
