The people you will play

Join to unlock your player list. If your group is still forming, we will let you know when the final list is ready.

Simple rules. Better matches.

The format keeps matches short enough to schedule and clear enough to settle on court.

  1. 01Play one timed 12-game set, usually within 60 minutes including a quick warm-up.
  2. 02Complete 12 regular games unless your agreed time expires first. At 6–6, play the deciding tiebreak.
  3. 03At 6–6, play a deciding tiebreak to 7 points, winning by two. Record the match as 7–6.
  4. 04Every game won is one league point. Examples: 12–0 gives 12 and 0 points; 7–3 gives 7 and 3; 6–4 gives 6 and 4; a deciding tiebreak is recorded as 7–6 and gives 7 and 6.
  5. 05The winner reports the result in OpenTennis within 24 hours. The opponent confirms it or raises a dispute within 48 hours.
  6. 06Complete at least one match before the league ends to appear in the final classification.
  7. 07You can join after the league has started. Registration stays open until one calendar month before it ends.
  8. 08Agree on a court and time, and split the court cost unless you decide otherwise. One hour is usually enough for a quick warm-up and the set, but you may arrange another duration or venue.
  9. 09Each player brings their own racket, playable tennis balls, and any other equipment they need.
  10. 10If your opponent has not arrived 15 minutes after the scheduled match time, you both agree and confirm a 7–0 walkover.
  11. 11Arrange matches through OpenTennis chat, WhatsApp, email, or any other channel that works for both of you.
  12. 12Weather, court closure, or injury permits rescheduling without penalty.
  13. 13Repeated no-shows or deliberately false reports may lead to removal.
  14. 14OpenTennis connects players so they can arrange and play matches. OpenTennis is not a party to agreements between players and does not manage or accept responsibility for their communications, payments, cost sharing, disputes, conduct, equipment, bookings, or other direct interactions. Each player is responsible for their own decisions, actions, safety, and compliance with venue rules and applicable law.
